A unique partnership in color! Teal with a natural tan brings out a color combination that is not often found and will certainly catch the eye! The yoke and concho plates are stamped with the four symbols of poker; hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs and the traditional latigo stamp. Antique conchos sizes range from the 2” at the back of the belt to the 1-1/2” ones on the concho plate. The twisted fringe take the chinks “up a notch”, adding a look of not only class but uniqueness too.

These chaps (right)are made from a heavy 5-6 oz. leather but can also be made in the lighter yet durable 3-3.5 oz chap leather.

Ace High Leathers offers half chap styles that are unique to the western community. My half chaps are worn by both English and Western riders. The Portguese 7 strap style is now being worn by both western riders and motorcyclists.

The construction and quality of my half chaps are considered “high end” as I not only use high quality leather but also line the chap with vegetable tanned leather. This lining allows the half chap to remain flexible and comfortable but not loose its shape.

The half chap will not “slouch” down away from the knee. I specialize in custom orders for any size leg! You design your half chaps or send me an old pair and I will reproduce it and/or improve on it. The optional boot protector not only looks good but provides a classy custom fit.

The heavy duty under the heel elastic strap keeps the half chap from riding up or twisting out of place. Whether it be straps, Velcro or zipper closure its up to you. Elastic panels can be added for extra comfort. Chaps can be designed to go up in front over the knee for added protection against brush or traditionally with the outside portion of the half chap being higher.

How to order Half Chaps-

Because there are so many options, this process is three steps.

1- On the ordering menu, select the style you want... Basic 3 strap, Basic 3 strap with extra 'bling', 7 strap basic or 7 strap with extra 'bling'. The amount shown for the selections with 'extra bling' are a deposit towards the finished product. The amount indicated for the style you have chosen WITH extra bling, should include much of what you see in the brown 7 strap shown just to the left.

2- You will contact us via phone or email to work out the details; measurements per the chart above, leather color, options, etc.

3- if there is a balance due because of options or special requests, that will need to be paid PRIOR to shipping.
